Apex Research Institute has conducted over 500 clinical trials (Phase I-IV), both in-patient and outpatient, since our inception in 1984. The research site originally was part of a large private cardiology practice in Anaheim, CA and was founded by Melvin J. Tonkon,M.D. and Cathy Fox. Phase I experience includes specialty population studies in vaccines, congestive heart failure, hypertension, Alzheimer's, fibromyalgia. Apex offers multi-specialty trials as varried as our research sponsors, including recent trials for anti-terrorism medications.
